This design is an homage to all the beautiful parterre gardens & to the gardeners who create & tend to them. While I love my 'cottage style' garden in my backyard, I have always admired & have a special place in my heart for the more formal parterre gardens. Their architecture with paths & borders, & order bring such a sense of peace & serenity - & so I created this design so that I could always have a special little parterre garden of my own!
The smaller size of this quilt make it a wonderful, manageable size for a wall quilt or a sweet table topper.
