Floye's Garden - Sample quilt

One of my fondest memories as a little girl was when we would get to visit my grandparent’s farm. When driving up to the farm - we could always pick out Grandma’s & Grandpa’s, because of my Grandma Floye’s garden that graced the entrance at the driveway from the road. It was the most amazing flower garden I had ever seen... & perhaps still - as it lives larger than life in my memories & in my heart.

This quilt is hand appliquéd - hand-dyed wools on a linen/cotton blend background.
